Generative AI

Generative AI intelligence and machine learning processes

 Generative AI

An Introduction Generative AI refers to a category of artificial intelligence algorithms that generate new outputs based on the data they have been trained on. Unlike traditional AI systems that recognize patterns and make predictions, generative AI creates new content in various forms, including images, text, and audio. This is made possible through a type of deep learning called generative adversarial networks (GANs). A GAN consists of two neural networks: a generator that creates new data and a discriminator that evaluates the data.

What Is Generative AI

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly gaining attention, captivating the minds of students looking to save time on essay writing and leaders at the world's largest tech companies. While excitement is building around the potential of AI tools, there is still a lack of understanding about what these tools are capable of and how they work. While we could delve into the details, it seems fitting to let generative AI speak for itself, particularly with the advancements of tools like ChatGPT. The infographic above, including illustrations, icons, and text descriptions, was all created using generative AI tools such as Midjourney. In fact, everything in this article was generated using ChatGPT based on specific prompts. Generative AI

How Can We Use Generative AI

Generative AI has the ability to create new images. Text: Generative AI can also be used to write news articles, poetry, and even scripts. Audio: In addition to images and text, generative AI can generate new music tracks, sound effects, and even voice acting. Furthermore, generative AI tools can have a positive impact on the job market. For example, AI can automate repetitive and time-consuming tasks, allowing humans to focus on more creative and value-adding work. Additionally, AI can assist in making faster and more informed decisions by processing and analyzing large amounts of data. To improve the quality of this text, here are some suggestions:  Use more specific and descriptive language. Instead of saying "capturing the imaginations of everyone," specify who exactly is being captivated, such as "students, professionals, and leaders."  Avoid using vague phrases like "Excitement is building." Instead, provide specific examples or evidence of this excitement, such as statistics or quotes from experts.  Use active voice instead of passive voice. For example, instead of saying "what exactly these tools are capable of and how they work is still not widely understood," say "people still have a limited understanding of the capabilities and workings of these tools." Provide more context and background information. For instance, explain what ChatGPT is and why it is relevant to the topic. Use consistent verb tense. In the first paragraph, present tense is used ("is reaching," "is building"), while in the second paragraph, past tense is used ("was created," "was generated"). Stick to one tense throughout the text. Use parallel structure. In the last sentence of the second paragraph, the phrases "from illustrations and icons to the text descriptions" and "using generative AI tools such as Midjourney" are not parallel. Consider rephrasing to make them parallel, such as "from illustrations and icons to text descriptions, all created using generative AI tools like Midjourney." Provide more specific examples of what generative AI can create in each form (images, text, audio). Instead of saying "Generative AI can create new images," specify what kind of images it can create, such as "realistic portraits, landscapes, or abstract art." Use more varied sentence structures. Many sentences in this text are structured similarly, which can make the writing feel repetitive. Varying sentence length and structure can make the text more engaging and easier to read. Use transitions to connect ideas and improve flow. For example, use words like "furthermore" or "in addition" to connect the paragraph about the positive impacts of generative AI to the previous paragraph about its capabilities.  Provide more evidence or examples to support claims. For instance, in the last paragraph, it is mentioned that AI can have a positive impact on the job market, but no specific examples or evidence are given to support this claim. Consider providing specific examples or statistics to strengthen the argument.

How Does AI Work

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a complex technology that enables machines

 AI Introduction

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a complex technology that enables machines to learn from data and recognize patterns in order to perform tasks more efficiently and effectively. It powers a wide range of products and services, such as Netflix's algorithm that recommends TV shows and movies based on user preferences, and Waymo's fleet of self-driving cars

What IS AI

AI is the theory and discipline of programming computer systems to learn from and spot patterns in data sets. These advanced algorithms and models perform human tasks, such as recognizing speech or images and making decisions. AI relies on machine learning and neural networks, as well as more complicated concepts like deep learning and natural language processing. With generative AI, we can create prompts to request content from processors like ChatGPT or Google

How Does AI Work

Gemini. Step-by-Step Guide to Creating AI:  Define the problem: The first step in creating AI is to clearly define the problem that needs to be solved.  Determine the outcomes: Next, determine the desired outcomes or goals for the AI system.  Organize the data set: Collect data from various sources, such as text, audio, and video, and sort it into categories that can be read by the algorithms

Input Processing & Outcome Adjustment

The appropriate technology Select the appropriate technology, such as machine learning or neural networks, to process the data and achieve the desired outcomes.  Test solutions: Test the AI system and make adjustments as needed until the desired outcomes are achieved. How AI Works in Five Steps:  Inputs: Data is collected from various sources and sorted into categories Processing: The AI system uses algorithms to analyze the data and recognize patterns.  Outcomes: Based on the patterns identified, the AI system can predict outcomes in customer behavior and market trends. Adjustments: If the outcomes are not satisfactory, the AI system can be adjusted by altering the algorithms or criteria.  Assessments: The AI system continues to learn and improve as it processes more data and makes adjustments. In summary, AI works by collecting and processing data, recognizing patterns, and predicting outcomes. It is a constantly evolving technology that requires careful planning and testing to achieve desired results. By following these steps, businesses can harness the power of AI to improve efficiency and make better decisions.

GOOGLE AI EDGE GALLERY

The Google AI Edge Gallery is a game-changer for those looking to run large language models locally.

 Google AI Edge Gallery Introduction

The Google AI Edge Gallery is a revolutionary app that allows users to download and run Gemma 4 models directly on their Android or iOS devices without the need for a cloud connection.
In this guide, we will walk you through the simple steps to set up the app in just a few minutes.

What Is Google AI Edge Gallery

The Google AI Edge Gallery is a game-changer for those looking to run large language models locally.
In the past, this required a dedicated GPU, a Linux terminal with numerous dependencies, and a weekend of troubleshooting.
However, with the Google AI Edge Gallery, this process is now much simpler.

Google AI Edge Gallery How it's Work's

The app is free to download and use, and it eliminates the need for internet connection, API keys, and cloud costs.
This has several benefits, including the ability to use the model offline and free inference once the model is downloaded.
The app, developed by Google's AI Edge team, serves two purposes: as a demo for developers to showcase the capabilities of on-device AI, and as a functional tool for anyone looking to run Gemma models locally.
It is built on Google's AI Edge SDK, which handles the technical aspects of loading models, managing memory, and running inference efficiently on mobile hardware.
The app currently works on Android devices with version 10 or later, and an iOS version is currently in development
In the meantime, iPhone users can use alternatives such as Ollama or the MLC Chat app.
For laptops, there is no native desktop app for the Google AI Edge Gallery, but there are other options for running Gemma 4 locally, which will be discussed in the laptop section below.
